nullThe farmer's market is full of beans these days: wax, broad beans, flat, green, and petite haricots verts are all making their appearance. Beans are wonderful steamed, sautéed, roasted, added to soups, or munched on raw. Summer Pesto Beans, and Summer Beans with Shallots, Carrots, and Mint are two favorites that lend themselves to any type of vine beans, and incorporate the best of summer's sweet herbs as well.
