I'm pretty sure that statistically there are far more female vegans and vegetarians than male ones. Perhaps it's due to their muscle structure, perhaps to the need to feed testosterone levels in the body, but vegan guys are a distinct minority. I do, however, know a bunch of "flexitarian" men: they eat a dominantly plant based diet, and may eat animal food on a daily (as in once), weekly or monthly basis.
These guys are good humored about making do with beans and seitan and tempeh most of the time, but then the day comes when the desire for a good chunk of animal protein arrives center stage. I think it's a pretty primal urge, and am never loathe to take care of the need. This year I put together a list of Father's Day Recipes for the Flexitarian Man in honor of Father's Day. They include some vegetarian sides and desserts, with fish, chicken and lamb as the central focus. All of the recipes are easy, many of them can be made ahead of time, and they will all stroke the feel-good sweet spot of your favorite Dad.

Good day! This post couldn’t be written any better! Reading this post reminds me of my old room mate! He always kept chatting about this. I will forward this write-up to him. Fairly certain he will have a good read. Many thanks for sharing!
