Sound Healing: Meridians
An obvious first question might be: What does sound healing have to do with macrobiotic cooking? Macrobiotic lifestyle is about longevity, and longevity in great part depends on keep our energy moving and flowing, a concept understood for thousands of years by Asian medicine. Food, breath, water, and the practice of opening the energy channels (meridians) of the body all contribute to energy flow. Sound healing is an ancient art, and existed in global cultures since the dawn of humanity.

David Bruce Leonard is a licensed acupuncturist, master herbalist, martial artist and author of two books. He holds a master's degree in Chinese Medicine and teaches plant medicine in the Hawaiian islands. Leonard is an active ecologist and environmentalist, and for nearly 2 decades has been helping people heal from a five element approach.
